Geographically, Old Bridge is the largest municipality in Middlesex County.  The result is that it offers an incredibly wide variety of housing choices with everything from condos, townhouses, luxury adult communities for 55+, original beach bungalows that have been converted to year round living, garden apartments, recently built luxury apartment complexes with today’s amenities,  Cheesequake Village ( a 55+ community where prices are mostly under $200k at the entrance to a State Park and much more.  

Community features include Cheesequake State Park for hiking and camping, Geick Park (off Route 516), Veterans Park (off Englishtown Road), open land such as the Lambertson tract, tennis courts & an ice rink at the municipal buildng and Old Bridge Waterfront Park in the Laurence Harbor section along the Raritan Bay.  

Traversed by the Garden State Parkway, Route 9, Route 34, Route 18 and Route 35 it is easy to head in any direction from Old Bridge whether you want to head down the shore, into the city or just need to head out for some shopping. Within town you also have a wide variety of stores and restaurants that span the spectrum from numerous local pizza places, such as Lisa’s in Laurence Harbor to neighborhood bar/grills like General Saloon to the fine dining of Ponte Vecchio and chains including Texas Roadhouse – something for everyone.

Numerous options are availalbe for commuters including the Park and Ride for the bus at Exit 120 of the GSP, numerous bus routes along Route 9 and other corridors plus depending where in town you live you might be fairly close to the South Amboy or Matawan Train Station and if you live on the Route 18 side of town you can always head up to the Park and Ride near the Hyatt and the Turnpike entrace or continue into New Brunswick to catch the train.
